Trace Elementary is the largest elementary school in the San Jose Unified School District with 805 Transitional Kindergarten through 5th grade students. We are a volunteer-driven school with a community of parents and teachers dedicated to fostering creativity, academic success, and respect. This year, we are introducing community sponsorship opportunities to help achieve our goals for the year. The PTO is a 501c non-profit organization and all proceeds through fundraising efforts come back to directly benefit the school. Trace is a Title 1 low-income school which makes our fundraising efforts especially important. When the district is unable to provide funding or opportunities, the PTO steps up to help build a richer school environment.
PTO funds support a wide array of needs. By becoming a sponsor you will be directly supporting our children & community. Your sponsorship will help pay for:
- Annual Science Fair
- After school enrichment programs
- Encouraging safe walking and biking to school through Walk n’ Roll Committee
- School supplies, PE Equipment, etc.
- Project Cornerstone parent volunteer programs that build student character, support anti-bullying lessons, and expand cultural awareness.
- VPA programs
- And, many other activities that support our students and families!
