Each February we celebrate Black History Month at Trace. We’ve had events ranging from family focused events to panel discussions to presentations. We also can’t have an event without food!

BHM Family Night
Join us for our 2026 BHM Family Night!
- PREORDER Food at a discount from Island Taste.
- Preorder Due Monday, February 9th by midnight.
- 5:30pm Event starts, pick up your food or bring your own and have dinner in the MPR.
- The Lincoln Black Student Union will have an activity and fundraiser for their club.
- The Rose Garden Library will also have a table with some goodies and info.
- PTO is donating FREE BOOKS to the event!
- 6:00pm Brother Malcolm will do a presentation about influential Black leaders from the Bay Area.
- After the presentation we will break out into two groups to rotate between West African drumming and dancing sessions then put it all together!
